Financial Mapping Service

The Financial Mapping service is a new service from the Simpligroup, our Regulated Advisers will spend approximately 1 ½ hours with you at your home, your place of work or our office. During this time we shall help you construct a financial plan so you can take financial control during these challenging financial times.

It has always been important to set goals, create a financial plan to achieve them and to ensure that we are correctly protected should the unexpected happen. Sometimes in order to realise our dreams we may need to sacrifice short term desires to make sure that we achieve the best for ourselves and our family in the long term. It is essential that we do not see this as a chore and are inspired and assisted in creating a “Finance Map”. So whether you are looking to save money, increase your earnings, protect your family and achieve your dreams you will find our planning session to be the most valuable hour and a half you spend in 2009.

At the Meeting

Whilst your planner is with you they will firstly find out if there are any major issues that you need to address. Next they will review your current financial situation and help you clarify your goals. Once this is done they will help you put together a revised budget during which they should be able to help you save significant amounts of money on some of your current expenses. In order to agree the new budget you will firstly decide what priorities you want to address in the short, medium and long term (these are explained further in the Goal Setting Guide (enc)). Finally you will be encouraged to agree what your priorities are and commit to take action in these areas.

After the Meeting

Once the meeting is complete you will hopefully have reviewed your current budget and set out a revised budget plan to cover 2009 and beyond. You should also have set some life and financial goals and prioritised a plan of attack and timescale for achieving your aims.

Over the coming years SimpliGroup will support you to achieve these goals and will arrange a 6 monthly follow up call and an annual review. However, if you need assistance at any time then please do not hesitate to get in touch. We want to help you in every way we can.

During the review you will identify certain goals that you may require our immediate or longer term assistance with. This may involve a follow up from one of our;

If this is the case this will be agreed at the meeting and a timescale for this “next step” will be confirmed.
