Overseas property investors with Bulgarian property in the country's ski destinations will be glad to hear that the nation has been recommended for people interested in skiing.

The resort of Bansko has emerged as the cheapest in a survey by M&S Money, which sought to find out how much it cost to purchase items on a typical ski trip at worldwide destinations.

According to the survey results, which are likely to bring more business to holiday properties in the region, people looking to ski on a budget should make Bulgaria their ultimate destination.

"Our survey has shown that skiers willing to try alternative destinations, such as Bulgaria and Italy, can still enjoy a break on a budget," said James Yerkess, M&S Travel Money manager.

Switzerland was the most expensive with a typical ski basket costing £585, while a similar basket in Bansko cost just £471.

Property investment in the eastern European country still remains an attractive option, according to Shelter Offshore.ADNFCR-1548-ID-19032851-ADNFCR
