Overseas property investors have been given one more reason to invest in property in Dubai after revelations that the city has installed 350 air-conditioned bus shelters.

The move has seen Dubai's bus network become an even more attractive option for travel around the city, which can be hot during certain times of the year.

Jumeirah, Deira, Al Wasl and Qusais are some of the 250 mass transit locations around the desert city, which now boast the cooled shelters installed by Right Angle Media, the company behind the world's first air-conditioned bus shelters.

Director of operations Jim Davies said: "Our commitment to providing world-class public transport amenities for commuters and tourists alike remains on top of our agenda.

"We aim to make travelling in Dubai more convenient, safe and comfortable."

The investment comes as a new £2 billion Metro Railway system, which promises to make the metropolis even more lucrative for investors, prepares to open in September.
