Investors and property groups head to Bucharest

Romania

22nd April 2008
Property development professionals, investors, construction firms and architects will be among the visitors heading to Build Green CEE from April 23rd to 24th - an environmentally-friendly property event held in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.

According to conference's official website, now is a good time for organisations to get involved in the "spectacular" growth in construction currently being witnessed in eastern Europe.

Detailing the event, the site states that attendees will be able to discover "the demand for energy efficient and ecological buildings, products and services" in Bucharest.

It also dubs the city and its surrounding areas "Europe's most promising construction region", which may alert those looking for overseas property to buy.

Business advisory group Sopolec is the event organiser, while the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing will be one of the partners for the two-day show.

Green issues are occupying another Balkan country this week, as Bulgaria celebrates Earth Day on Tuesday April 22nd.

Various cities, such as Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, will hold events and gatherings throughout the day in order to raise awareness of local environmental issues.
